Brad Holmes Executive Chef/Owner – OLO Restaurant


Brad Holmes grew up in Port Alberni, then left the island to build his reputation by learning with reknowned chefs like JC Poirier, Rob Feenie and David Hawksworth. Brad has a keen appreciation and respect for the beauty and lifestyle on Vancouver Island and is passionate about bringing the local flavours to life in his cooking.

In 2010 he returned to Vancouver Island and opened ulla with his partner Sahara Tamarin, winning many awards and accolades. In 2015 they began a new venture in the same space. OLO continues to be his showcase for much loved ingredients of the West Coast and he is proud to be part of the inaugural Eat the Future event.
